Designed as a private oasis, where water, fire, and lush greenery blur the line between architecture and landscape.
From the beginning, the space had strong potential generous proportions, beautiful architecture, and a facade filled with character.
The client approached MDO with one clear goal: to create a lush outdoor oasis designed around family life, entertaining, and complete disconnection from the city. At the center of the project sits a large sunken seating area surrounded by water — a bold feature that naturally became the heart of the garden. Connected through a bridge-like walkway and centered around a fire feature, the space comfortably accommodates large gatherings while maintaining intimacy and warmth.
The swimming pool was designed as a larger body of water wrapped with planting from every angle, creating an immersive oasis feeling throughout the garden. Layers of tropical greenery soften the architecture, while a mature olive tree placed within a shallow reflective water feature acts as a timeless focal point.
To complete the experience, a flexible indoor-outdoor pool house was introduced, featuring a bar and dining area that can fully open during winter and close comfortably during summer.
With fresh tones, calm turquoise water reflections, warm lighting, and playful striped cushions around the sunken seating, Palm Hills Oasis became a space designed for slowing down, gathering, and creating memories around water, greenery, and open air.
